Preservation
of the mountain
At INWILD, we want to offset part of our impacts by contributing to the financing of educational projects to preserve the Park National of the Vanoise.
One of the missions of the agents of the Vanoise National Park is to offer environmental protection awareness activities.
Among the educational tools, the Park has castings of mountain fauna footprints (chamois, hare, ibex, wolf, etc.), widely used during numerous awareness-raising actions, from the stands at the entrances to the Park to the activities of the Maison du Parc, through various educational projects.
A major expense for INWILD to date but which we will renew for new projects if winter 2021 goes well.
The Vanoise national park and its ambassadors have developed an educational tool in the field, intended for mountain professionals (mountain guide, high mountain guide, ski instructor).
Their objective is to be able raise awareness among mountain sports enthusiasts directly in the field, at the foot of the ski lifts, on snowy slopes, on the hiking trails…
Each frieze includes 12 scenes (for the 12 months of the year) depicting the animal in its environment with synthetic explanations on its biology, its behavior and its fragility to anthropogenic disturbance.
The donation, paid during the fall of 2021, represents 0.5% of the company's turnover.

The ibex disappeared from the French Pyrenees at the very beginning of the 20th century, then from the Spanish side in the year 2000.
Become a protected species, the Pyrenees National Park reintroduced Iberian ibexes from Spain since 2014.
Thanks to you, telemarkers, we are proud to have sponsored a female ibex, named "Meidjo" who was released on March 31, 2021.
