LINEA, designed for skiers looking for lightness, performance and ease of use.
Why Linea?
In Italian, ‘Linea’ means line, a powerful symbol in the world of ski touring.
When you're touring, the line you draw in the snow is much more than just a path: it's your trajectory, your road to adventure and the writing of a unique story.
Every ascent is a quest, and every descent a liberation. Linea embodies this link between effort and freedom, offering a robust, precise binding that follows your every move, whether you're carving a perfect line in the powder or confidently traversing technical slopes.
LINEA eco-designed binding
Thanks to our eco-design approach, a pair of LINEA bindings with ski brakes emits 70% less greenhouse gas than our reference model.
25% of the parts are made from biosourced polyamide incorporating recycled carbon fibre.
the main aluminium parts are forged, a high-quality manufacturing process with low material losses, contributing to a significant reduction in environmental impact.
The integration of eco-design has enabled us to divide greenhouse gas emissions by 4 on the binding !
They supported the project team in integrating the eco-design approach and optimising the technical choices made in terms of materials, manufacturing processes and design to ensure the durability and upgradability of the new binding.
This approach illustrates Inwild's commitment to offering ski bindings that are as environmentally friendly as possible, while guaranteeing optimum performance, safety and ease of use.
Details
The Linea binding incorporates a stop and a patented, high-quality Tech-toe mechanism for intuitive, easy and precise fitting. The mechanism has been designed to prevent snow build-up. Its optimal fit allows skiers to concentrate on their ascent and descent with great confidence. The leash is placed under the binding for maximum safety, while remaining discreet and easy to install.
Weighing just 270g without ski-brake and 315g with ski-brake per binding, Linea is one of the lightest bindings in its category. This makes it an ideal choice for skiers looking to lighten their equipment without sacrificing performance.
Linea incorporates 0°, 7° (34mm) and 11° (55mm) heel sets that can be easily manipulated with the pole and accessed without having to turn the heel piece. This practical feature is a real plus for skiers who want to save time when touring.
The touring and skiing modes are activated by rotating the heel piece to the right or left. For the Linea version with ski-brake, simply turn the heel piece to the right or left to unlock.
The 30 mm adjustment rail makes the Linea binding compatible with 6 to 8 sizes of ski boot.
The optional ski stops are automatic and retractable. They lock with a quarter-turn to the right or left. This ease of use provides extra comfort.
Linea crampons have been designed for vertical insertion, ensuring excellent hold. They are compatible with all bindings, with the exception of Plum bindings.
The binding is fitted as close as possible to the ski, with only 35 mm of space, guaranteeing better optimisation when touring and improving the skier's stability on all types of terrain.
SAFETY
Linea features an adjustable DIN 4-11 side release, so you can tailor the binding to the specific needs of each skier, in terms of comfort, safety or performance. Linea is suitable for all levels of skier: beginners, intermediates and experts. To combine precision and safety, we have gone beyond the requirements of the standard. The design of the heel support safety system ensures shoe alignment up to 80% of the DIN adjustment threshold. Beyond this 80% DIN threshold, the elasticity of the pivot protects your knee ligaments from vibration. Of course, at the threshold value, the heel lift is calibrated as required by ISO 13992.
The front release adjustment is available in 5 interchangeable ‘U’ sizes: DIN 4 - 6 - 8 - 10 and 12, so you can customise the release force of the binding at the heel piece, according to the skier's preferences and DIN level. The binding is supplied as standard with a U Din 8
Linea has 8mm of elasticity for optimum absorption when the ski flexes. This elasticity helps to absorb the flex of the ski, reducing the risk of the binding coming off and ripping.

AN ECO-DESIGNED PRODUCT
The LINEA binding is the result of an eco-design process compliant with the NF X30-264 standard, which requires environmental criteria to be built in from the very start of a product's design. To measure its impact, we carried out a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in accordance with ISO 14040. It covers every stage of the product's life: raw material extraction, manufacturing, transport, use and end of life. The result: a pair of LINEA bindings with ski brakes emits 70% less greenhouse gas than our reference model.
Solid and durable: base plate, rocker arm and spring cover made from biosourced polyamide incorporating recycled carbon fibre
Forged aluminium parts: high-quality manufacturing process with low material waste, considerably reducing environmental impact
Made in France in the Alps: design, manufacture and assembly
Upgradeable: fully dismantlable and repairable, designed for shops with fast, easy assembly
